Mary Davila Becomes First Female 2 Million Mile Safe Driver

Springfield, MA  – Peter Pan Bus Lines proudly announces that Mary Davila, a dedicated motor coach operator, has

made history as the first and only 2 Million Mile Bus Driver to be inducted into the Safe Driving Hall of Fame by the National Safety Council. This prestigious achievement recognizes Mary’s impeccable driving record—two million miles without a single preventable accident. 

A Trailblazer in the Industry

Mary Davila celebrates her 2 Million Mile Safe Driving Award with friends and colleagues at a special recognition dinner hosted by Peter Pan Bus Lines.

From Bayonne, NY, Mary started her career on May 24, 1996, at Peter Pan’s New York City Division. With a passion for safety and excellence, she has spent 28 years delivering passengers safely across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Mary Davila receives the 2 Million Mile Safe Driver Award at a Peter Pan Bus Lines ceremony, marking her induction into the National Safety Council Safe Driving Hall of Fame.

The National Safety Council’s Million Mile Award is one of the most respected honors in the transportation industry, recognizing drivers who demonstrate unparalleled commitment to safety. Mary’s 2 million accident-free miles are equivalent to 24 year of safe driving, all while ensuring the well-being of her passengers through the busiest cities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.  

Beyond her skill behind the wheel, Mary is known for her kindness, professionalism, and infectious laugh, earning the admiration of both her colleagues and the thousands of passengers she has transported over the years.
