Peter Pan Announces Appointments


Springfield, MA - Peter Picknelly, President of Peter Pan Bus Lines, today announced two new executive appointments.


Bruce Westcott recently joined Peter Pan Enterprises as Vice President of Business Development. The East Longmeadow resident is responsible for sales and marketing strategies for Peter Pan Bus Lines and the Peter Pan-owned companies Camfour-Hill Country and Belt Technologies. Westcott has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, including serving as an executive vice president for The Stanley Works.


Joanne Berwald of West Springfield joins Peter Pan as Director of Human Resources. She was previously director of human resources and vice president of operations for Buxton Co. Berwald is a graduate of Springfield College. She is a member of the executive boards of the Western Massachusetts Area Council of the Boys Scouts of America and of the Economic Development Council of the Regional Technology Corp.


According to Peter Picknelly, President of Peter Pan, "We are very fortunate to have individuals of the skill and experience of Bruce and Joanne move into these important positions with the company. Bruce brings years of marketing savvy in sales and marketing to the job and Joanne is a seasoned human resources professional. I'm pleased to welcome them to their new positions."

The company transports over three million passengers a year and its fleet of more than 300 buses travels over 25 million miles annually. The company also operates nationwide charter and tour services.
