Children′s Discount & Travel Policies

	General Policies
A child's fare cannot be sold separate of an unrestricted adult fare. The Child and Adult must travel together for the entire trip. One-ways and round-trips cannot be combined on the same transaction. Car Seats are not allowed on the bus, as there are no seat belts to secure them.

	Children Under 2 Years of Age
One child under the age of 2 will ride free per adult fare if not occupying a seat. An additional child under 2 will receive a 40% discount off an unrestricted adult fare. A maximum of two children under 2 may travel per adult ticket; additional children are charged an unrestricted adult fare. Any child under 2 occupying a seat will receive a 40% discount off an unrestricted adult fare.

	Children 2 through 11 Years of Age
Children 2 through 11 years of age receive a 40% discount off an unrestricted adult fare, when accompanied by another passenger 15 years of age or older. A maximum of 2 children ages 2 through 11 may travel per adult ticket; additional children are charged an unrestricted adult fare.

	Children 12 through 14 Years of Age
Children 12 through 14 years of age pay an unrestricted adult fare, but must be accompanied by someone 15 years of age or older to travel.

	15 Years of Age and Older
Children 15 years of age and older pay an unrestricted adult fare and may travel alone. They may act as the accompanying adult for children under the age of 15.

	Unaccompanied Children 8 through 14 Years of Age
Children 8 through 14 years of age may travel unaccompanied by an adult providing all of the following criteria are met: An Unaccompanied Child Form must be filled out completely by parent or guardian at the station of origin. The adult designated by parent or guardian on Unaccompanied Child Form must be available at the destination station to sign for release of child. An unrestricted adult fare must be purchased for the unaccompanied child, and a $5.00 Unaccompanied Child Fee is assessed for the transaction. No change of bus is allowed enroute. Trip must be no longer than 5 hours in duration. Trip must be completed during daylight hrs. Both origin and destination stations must be full-service agencies. Destination station must be open at the time the child is scheduled to arrive.

Student Discounts

	High School/College Student Discounts
A high school/college student discount is available for travel to and from the following locations: UMass/Amherst/Hampshire College/South Hadley/Northampton - Worcester> UMass/Amherst/Hampshire College/South Hadley/Northampton/Springfield - Framingham/Newton/Boston UMass/Amherst/Hampshire College/South Hadley/Northampton/Springfield - New York Providence - Boston Providence - New York

	"Student Advantage" Discounts
College students can purchase a Student Advantage Card and save 15% on selected city pair one-way and round-trip unrestricted adult fares. Student Advantage Cards may be purchased at all Peter Pan full service locations for $22.50, or by calling 1-877-256-4672. The Student Advantage Card also offers discounts on music, movies, electronics, sportswear, food, textbooks, and much more. Students must present valid College I.D. and current Student Advantage Card for discount. Children, Senior Citizens traveling with Student receive the 15% discount. Discount is not available for all destinations. Cannot be combined with other discounts. Cannot be combined with promotional fares

Seniors

	Senior Citizen's Discount
A 5% discount on one-way and round-trip unrestricted adult fares is available to customers 62 years of age and older: Cannot be combined with other discounts Cannot be combined with promotional fares

Military

	Military Discount
A 10% discount on one-way and round-trip unrestricted adult fares is available for travel throughout the Northeast for the following military personnel: Active and retired members of the U.S. Armed Forces (Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy only). Foreign military personnel in active service, Members of the National Guard and Reservists, Bona fide identifiable spouses and dependants of the above. Children′s fares are 40% less the adult military fare. Cannot be combined with other discounts. Cannot be combined with promotional fares.

There are no discounts available for members of the clergy.
